Qualcomm has announced its new Snapdragon processor, which many experts have rated as the best smartphone chipset to date.

According to Qualcomm, the new Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 processor has cores with a frequency of 3.2 GHz, and in general, this processor has better performance by regarding 10% than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processors, and provides mobile devices with better graphics processing as well.

Despite the excellent performance of this processor, Qualcomm designed it in a special way to rationalize energy consumption, according to experts, it will contribute to energy savings of 15% compared to the previous Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, which will give phones regarding 50 additional minutes of work on a single battery charge.

Experts also indicated that the new processor was designed to maintain the continuity of its cores working at the maximum frequency and without interruptions while using the phone, which will positively affect the speed of data download, especially when dealing with modern 5G networks, and this will also improve the ability of phones to deal with new video games. .

The AnandTech website indicated that the processor obtained distinct capabilities to rationalize energy consumption thanks to the 4 nm standard on which it was built, and thanks to the reliance on TSMC technologies.
