QUAERO CAPITAL strengthens its real estate division, with the arrival of Alexandre Renault as Head of Asset Management and Margaux Cugura as Fund Manager

The asset manager, which currently manages EUR 3 billion on behalf of major European institutional clients, aims to create new funds from 2023 in order to reach EUR 500 million under management by 2025 for its Real Estate division, which includes already 2 OPPCI (Foncière Quaero I and Educatio, recently labeled SRI).

Alexandre Renault now holds the position of Head of Real Estate Asset Management under the direction of Jérôme Dulon, Director of Asset Management within the real estate division. His mission will be to deploy valuation strategies for all assets under management, both office assets and educational property.

Alexandre Renault has more than 16 years of experience in real estate. He began his career in 2006 as a sales representative in the tertiary sector at Arthur Loyd then joined Foncia Entreprise, where he became branch manager. He then turned to real estate asset management, notably at LFPI REIM then Perial Asset Management, where he is in charge of managing a portfolio of real estate assets in France and Europe (Germany and the Netherlands). Alexandre Renault studied Modern Literature at the Catholic Institute of Paris and Communication at the IICP.

Margaux Cugura joins QUAERO CAPITAL as Real Estate Fund Manager under the responsibility of Olivier Lutz, Head of Real Estate. She will be responsible for the financial and administrative monitoring of the two OPPCIs under management, analysis and structuring of investments. It will also oversee the creation of new funds, starting in 2023.

Since 2017, she has held the position of auditor in the Real Estate division of PwC, where she was in charge of legal audit assignments on behalf of real estate companies. Margaux Cugura holds a Masters in Audit – Management Control from IÉSEG School of Management.
