The Health Bureau stated that 70 pieces of ice products, edible ice cubes and beverages were randomly inspected for Salmonella, Enterobacteriaceae, E. coli, E. coli O157:H7, and another 11 pieces of rice noodles, coconut fruit, tea jelly, rice noodles, etc. For ingredients, inspect preservatives and coloring agents according to their properties.
The Health Bureau pointed out that 22 ice-drinking products did not comply with the regulations in the initial inspection. If it exceeds the standard, it means that the hygienic conditions of the production process, food materials, utensils and packaging processes may be polluted, or the personal hygiene of the staff is not good. As for normal temperature storage, it is the best environment for microbial reproduction. It will further affect the quality of ice drinks and reduce their shelf life.
The Health Bureau reminds the industry to pay attention to the production process, environmental hygiene and self-management, including product quality hygiene, personnel hygiene, etc. Employees should pay attention to personal hygiene and do regular physical examinations, pay attention to hand cleaning and disinfection, and if there are wounds, they need to be properly bandaged Handle and wear impermeable gloves. Pay attention to the storage temperature control of the refrigerator, prepare appropriate amount of ingredients, and store ice in a timely manner when not in use; regularly replace the ice maker or water dispenser filter and other hygienic self-management work to ensure consumer rights.
