According to the arrangement, the group draw for the top 32 of the World Cup will be held in Doha, the capital of Qatar, in the early morning of April 2, Beijing time.
During the draw, the 32 teams will be divided into four groups, and the host Qatar team will be directly placed in Group A as the first “seed team”. In terms of other teams, according to the world rankings to be released by FIFA on March 31, among the 28 teams that have advanced to the finals, the top 7 teams will become the first team; the 8th to 15th will be the second team. teams; 16th to 23rd are pot three teams; 24th to 28th are the same pot four teams as the three teams that will advance through the play-offs in June this year.
In terms of the order of the draw, the guests will draw the teams in each draw in turn. They will first draw a ball from the team draw pool, and then draw a ball from the group draw pool to determine the team’s position in the group.
