Doha: Ministry of Labor said that recruitment applications in Qatar decreased in July. 7294 new applications were received. That’s less than half of what it was in June. Of the total 7294 applications received, 4665 were approved for recruitment. 2639 rejected. Out of 3131 applications for job change, 3077 were approved.

160 tests were conducted in the recruitment offices of the country. The Labor Inspection Department conducted extensive inspections last month. Action was recommended against 12 companies found irregular. 427 companies were also warned. 2221 orders have been issued against the institutions. Of these, 564 cases were resolved. 16 cases were referred to the Labor Dispute Resolution Committee, the ministry said.
