Qatar-Israel Agreement: Entry of Medicines and Humanitarian Aid into Gaza

The Qatari Foreign Ministry announced that an agreement had been reached between Israel and Hamas allowing the entry of medicines and humanitarian aid into Gaza, in exchange for the delivery of medicines to Hamas prisoners.

The Qatari Foreign Ministry spokesman, Majid bin Mohammed Al-Ansari, said today, Tuesday, regarding the success of Qatar’s mediation, in cooperation with France, in reaching an agreement between Israel and Hamas, which includes the entry of medicines and a shipment of humanitarian aid to civilians in the Gaza Strip, especially in the most affected and damaged areas, in exchange for Delivering the medicines needed by prisoners in the Gaza Strip.

The official spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs explained, in a statement to Qatar News Agency (QNA), that medicines and aid will be sent tomorrow to the city of Al-Arish, on board two planes belonging to the Qatari Armed Forces, in preparation for transporting them to the Gaza Strip.

The Qatari Foreign Ministry confirmed the continuation of efforts with regional and international partners during the next phase, especially in the humanitarian aspects and medical evacuation as part of efforts to end the war in the Gaza Strip.
