New methods of education should be developed
She added that this summit will help us to join hands in creating a globally agile education system, ensure that the rights of children and youth are protected and identify and address the needs of the student community. She said that in times of tragedies like the covid pandemic that disrupt learning activities, new methods of education need to emerge and the UN summit will be a forum for such deliberations.

Investment in education sector should be increased
As we move closer to the Sustainable Development Goals, the world cannot shirk its responsibility to ensure every child has access to quality education. For this, it is necessary to further strengthen the investment in the education sector. She also pointed out that many countries do not have the material resources required for this. The covid crisis and price hikes have had a major negative impact on national budgets. But it should be ensured that these do not in any way affect the investment in the field of education. She said that for Qatar, the country has adopted an approach that gives primary importance to education and it will continue to do so.
