Qatar bid to buy Manchester United: hoping to restore its former glory- Now Sports

【Now Sports】Hassen, the son of the former Prime Minister of Qatar, confirmed that he made a formal bid for Manchester United.

The Gaza family set a dead line for Manchester United to sell the bid at 10:00 UK time on Friday evening. Sheikh Jassim Bin Hamad Al Thani issued a statement announcing that a formal bid had been made, which was known to be as high as 6 billion pounds.

Chasson, a diehard Red Devils, said in a statement: “This bidding plan will restore the club to its former glory both on and off the field, and most importantly, it will once once more make the fans the core of Manchester United. Chasson’s 1992 Fund , the acquisition will see the club fully debt free and will seek to invest in the squad, training center, stadium and wider infrastructure, fan experience and community.”

In addition to Chasson, it is rumored that Sir Rajeev, the richest man in the UK, a private consortium in Saudi Arabia, and Musk, the founder of the electric car company Tesla (Tesla), are all interested in making a move.
