A little too cautious and no winner between the Celeste and the Taeguk Warriors. Uruguay and South Korea were neutralized on Thursday in the first match of Group H (0-0). If the Koreans were the most voluntary, the regrets will be more for the Uruguayans who hit the post twice. Portugal will face Ghana tonight.
Faced with lively and enterprising Koreans, the Uruguayans took a quarter of an hour to really enter their match and their 14th World Cup. Matias Vecino worked in the midfield and his friend Federico Valverde signed a good sequence at the entrance to the zone of truth to shoot a first arrow just above the cage of Kim Seunggyu (19th).

On the other hand, if Darwin Nunez did what he could on the left wing within a cautious team, Luis Suarez remained invisible and helpless in point for an hour while the young and too tender Facundo Pellistri did not never weighed. Another highly anticipated star, Heung-Min Son has also been quite discreet on the Korean side. On one side as on the other, it was first a question of not losing this first match concluded without any shots on target (10 against 6). Uruguay will however have the most difficult mission on the next day with a duel against the Portuguese favorite.
