The prefecture communicates this Tuesday evening a change in regulations which will come into force partly in the evening and for the rest from this Wednesday, October 12 at noon.
Faced with the difficulties of fuel supply in service stations, Rodrigue Furcy signed an order regulating the distribution of petroleum products in the department. From this Tuesday evening, the filling of jerrycans, the sale and purchase of fuels (gasoline, ethanol, diesel) in manually transportable containers is prohibited.
From October 12, 2022 at 12 p.m., the sale of fuel at service stations in the Pyrénées-Orientales is limited to 30 liters for light vehicles and 120 liters for heavy goods vehicles. Finally, some stations will reserve a queue for priority vehicles.
