On March 24 North Korea has carried out a full-scale test launch of its most powerful missile since 2017, which appears to be flying higher and farther than the ICBM it has previously tested. This includes those designed to fire as far as the US mainland.

An American analyst said the North’s weapons test was a clear sign of significant qualitative progress in North Korea’s prohibited weapons program. “The important thing about this ICBM is not how far it goes. but in that it can carry multiple warheads which is what North Korea has wanted for a long time.”
