Russian President Vladimir Putin said that there are attempts to blame Russia for the food crisis in the world, according to Al Arabiya satellite channel, in an urgent news story a while ago.
Putin explained that the food crisis in the world is linked to Europe’s energy policy, adding that America’s decision to print money led to an increase in food prices globally.
He pointed out that the rise in fertilizer prices has nothing to do with the Ukrainian war, pointing out that the situation will worsen in the world due to sanctions once morest Russia.
Putin continued, “Reports that we are preventing Ukraine’s grain exports are a hoax.”
“We are ready to guarantee the export of grain from the Sea of Azov,” Putin continued, adding that Ukraine might export grain through Romania, Poland and Belarus.
Putin stressed that sanctions once morest Belarus should be lifted to allow it to export grain, stressing that there are no problems with exporting grain through the ports of Ukraine.
