There are said to be hidden train stations near Vladimir Putin’s residences. Reports indicate that there appears to be a network of secret railway lines.
Several residences of Russian President Vladimir Putin are said to be connected to a secret rail network. This is reported by several media, citing the investigative Russian media portal “Project”. The railway lines are intended to enable Putin to travel through Russia inconspicuously and safely with his armored train. There are hidden stations in several places in the country.
According to research, one of these stations has been in Dolgie Borodij since 2019. This is the closest settlement to Putin’s residence in Valadai, halfway between St. Petersburg and Moscow. Both satellite images and an engineer who is said to have been involved in the construction of the railway line confirm this, according to the reports.
Station in Sochi separated from S-Bahn by barrier
Another station has been in Novo-Ogaryovo on the outskirts of Moscow since 2015. She is behind a large fence on which surveillance cameras are installed. According to the “project”, the area on which the station is located is said to have been confiscated from a private owner by the Russian federal protection service FSO.
A platform and a siding were also built near Putin’s summer house in Sochi in 2017. This is sealed off from the local S-Bahn by a large barrier. The reports of the hidden stations follow reports of an armored train in which Putin is to travel around Russia. Here you can read more regarding it.
