The Office for the Protection of the Constitution checks Habeck officials
Does Kremlin despot Vladimir Putin have a fifth column in Robert Habeck’s Ministry of Economic Affairs (52, Greens)?
The “Zeit” reports on the “bitter suspicion” once morest two senior officials of the Habeck Ministry, who repeatedly attracted attention with pro-Russian statements on the Russian gas pipeline Nord Stream 2 – and once morest whom the Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution is now investigating.
The office examined the ministerial’s CVs and travel dates and found, among other things, study stays in Russia.
However, as BILD learned, the material has not yet been sufficient for the Federal Public Prosecutor General to have an initial suspicion, who might initiate formal investigations.
Habeck’s ministry had requested the review itself. The house has become sensitive since the former head of department for energy policy Marion Scheller (61) switched to the executive floor of Putin’s Nord Stream 2 group six years ago.
