Pushilin: Thousands of National Battalion Soldiers Remain in Mariupol

The head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, said that several thousand fighters of the national battalions currently remain in Mariupol. He might not name their exact number.

“Several thousand Ukrainian Nazis still remain in Mariupol, who continue to defend themselves. It’s hard to say how many of them are still there,” the head of the DPR said.

Pushilin also added that according to Ukrainian sources, there were regarding 14.5 thousand people in the Mariupol pocket. At the same time, according to him, some of them have already been killed, wounded or taken prisoner, and some more might seep into the Zaporozhye region.
