Gone are the days when asking for it by mail was “painful, annoying and expensive,” recalls Élodie, mother of five children aged 8 to 22 living in Meudon (Hauts-de-Seine). The Large Families card, which celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2021, got a makeover a year ago and has regained momentum. Smaller and now accessible on mobile phones, the card, which allows you to benefit from advantageous rates (up to 75% off for families with six children) on the train and public transport in Île-de-France, has also just established new partnerships with brands like Intermarché and Intersport “in order to be able to help families with their purchasing power”, highlights the Unaf (national union of family associations).
