Pumas joins Puebla in interest on Ormeño loan – David Medrano

REPEAT STORY

In Chivas they are clear that in the case of Santiago Ormeño they will have to resort to the same formula as in the case of Ángel Zaldívar, José Antonio Rodríguez and Antonio Madueña, where the rojiblancos cover an important part of the footballer’s monthly salary, since he has a contract with the institution. In the case of Ormeño, both Pumas and Puebla have shown some interest in the footballer, but it will depend on how much Guadalajara puts in to cover the salary. At Chivas they are clear that a definitive transfer is impossible, which is why they negotiate a loan with the player’s representative. In most cases of the players it lends, Guadalajara contributes at least half of the monthly salary.

DID NOT WORK

In July of last year, Grupo Pachuca paid Chivas around a million dollars and the letter from Santiago Ormeño in exchange for Javier Eduardo ‘Chofis’ López, and the rojiblancos to ‘shield’ Ormeño gave him a three-year contract with a significant increase in relation to what he received with the León. A few months later, the striker has been informed that he has little chance of fighting for a position and the sports director recommended that he look for another club where he has more options to compete for a starting place.

CHANCE

After his failure as coach of the Mexico Under 20 National Team, which failed to qualify for the World Cup and the Olympic Games, Luis Pérez was invited by Ignacio Ambriz to join the coaching staff of the Toluca. In the same way, the strategist incorporated the ‘Negro’ Miguel Martínez, who had been working with Pereyra in the Expansion League, into his work group. Ambriz frequently changes assistants and now he thanked Ramírez Perales, Harlem Medina and Bora Alcantar, for bringing Luis Pérez, Miguel Martínez and FrancIsco Gamboa, who was in the Choriceros Basic Forces.
