And yet, great scientists will lose the pedals badly, destabilized by a rope appearing on the ground of a forest near their observatory … In three episodes of 50 minutes, La Corde opens a chasm in which logic and fantasy clash. The man does not come out of it grown. The viewer ends up a little stunned by the uncompromising conclusion of this singular work.
