Puerto Madero: he jumped into the river to recover his backpack and drowned

The moments following the tragedy

A witness present in Puerto Madero recorded with his cell phone the moments following the young man jumped into the river to retrieve his backpack. At that moment, two officers approached the side where the subject had been last seen.

“We will have to call the fire brigade,” said one of them. An officer asked a friend of the protagonist of the tragic event if they were his, to which the young man answered in the affirmative.

Then, on his Twitter account, the boy who filmed the entire sequence regretted not being able to help the 22-year-old who drowned.
