PUBLICIS GROUPE ANNOUNCES THE ACQUISITION OF MARS UNITED COMMERCE,

THUS CREATING THE LEADER IN CONNECTED COMMERCE

Paris – September 19, 2024 – Publicis Groupe [Euronext Paris FR0000130577, CAC 40] acquires Mars United Commerce, the largest independent e-commerce and retail marketing company. With more than 1,000 employees in 14 locations worldwide, Mars accelerates the growth of more than 100 of the world’s leading brands through its consumer insights, proprietary media tools and deep retail relationships.

Under Rob Rivenburgh’s leadership, Mars will continue to develop its technologies and client solutions, strengthening Publicis’ existing expertise in commerce.

Optimizing the sales journey by changing consumer behavior to accelerate sales growth is more critical than ever in brands’ marketing strategy. In addition, the complexity of the sales ecosystem due to the fragmentation and multiplication of channels, media, technologies and data makes this optimization more difficult.
