A serious incident in Division 98 that operates in Khan Yunis: Lieutenant Shahar Ben Non Petach Tikva, 21 years old, an officer of a paratrooper patrol was killed this morning (Monday) in a battle in the southern Gaza Strip. In the incident, three fighters were moderately injured and three others were slightly injured. The injured were evacuated by helicopter for hospital treatment. Ben Nun was promoted from the rank of sergeant to the rank of lieutenant after his death. Ben Nun left behind a pair of parents, a twin brother who is now on his way to Israel from abroad, and another brother in high school.
