Article 313 of the general regulations of the Lopre establishes the following steps to exercise suffrage in Venezuela:

-The voter will hand over his or her laminated identity card to the president of the electoral table.

-Once the authentication process is complete, they will return your ID and ask you if you know the process. If the answer is yes, they will let you go to the machine to cast your vote and the person presiding over the table will be in charge of unlocking the machine, which will make a sound.

-The law establishes that once the machine is enabled, the person will have three minutes to select the option and must press the “Vote” box. If they make a mistake, as long as they did not press this button, they can correct their vote.

-Once the “Vote” box is pressed, the machine will print a voting receipt, which must be deposited by the voter in the safekeeping box, for citizen verification.

-Once this process has been completed, the voter must hand over his/her identity card to the president of the table, who will write down his/her data in the voting book. The voter must sign it and mark it with his/her fingerprint.
