The Moroccan Association for the Protection of Public Money said, “The state must submit all black reports against corrupt people and thieves of public money to the judiciary to try them, and their money and property that they have accumulated through illegal means must be confiscated.”

The association explained, through its president, Mohamed Al-Ghlousi, that “the security services have all the reports implicating thieves of public money and corrupt people,” stressing that “it is time to bring them out and bring them to justice.”

Al-Ghoulousi stressed in a post on Facebook that “there should be no tolerance or leniency with thieves of public money, who have accumulated imaginary wealth and left society to lose hope in all the perpetrators,” noting that the state should “return these people to their original social status that they were in before they became obscenely and suspiciously rich and stole the country’s wealth.”

The same human rights activist stated that those involved in the looting of public funds “are pushing the country towards the unknown and are deliberately exploiting their positions of power and influence to oppress people and make them feel afraid of the future of this beautiful and wonderful country,” stressing that “all these people are doing is deepening the causes of poverty, injustice, discrimination and frustration, and pushing people to feel inferior and lose their dignity.”

The head of the Moroccan Association for the Protection of Public Money concluded that “corruption is the imminent danger that threatens the state and society,” stressing that “thieves of public money should not be left to push people to disbelieve in all values, especially since they deepen corruption, bribery and rent-seeking and seek to threaten social security,” according to his expression.
