PUBG Mobile is celebrating its 5th anniversary and it’s the players who receive gifts. To celebrate this important milestone, the title will have events, a new mode and more new content with the version 2.5 update. Among the novelties is the World of Wonders, a free construction mode that promises to offer endless possibilities for players and will be released in beta mode on March 16th.
Not all editing functions will be available to all players in the beta version of the mode, however, from the 16th players will be able to get a sense of the possibilities of the World of Wonders, visiting maps and modes created by other players.
Unlimited Experiences
The developers claim that World of Wonders will allow players to use their creativity to create experiences in an unlimited way. With advanced and detailed options, you will be able to create the maps and modes you want.
In the next stages of the World of Wonders testing program, the battlefield will become the playground of future architects, offering four different terrain types on which to erect buildings and other constructions, taking inspiration from some of Erangel’s famous locations, such such as Bird Perch, Coral Reef, Jade Realm, and the Erangel terrain itself. Construct the landscape with different objects, materials and building types using specialized construction tools, with options to copy, delete, rotate, zoom in and out, hang glide and much more, all with a simple swipe.
With more advanced options, future game designers will be able to adjust specific game parameters, as well as configure various features and gameplay objects, which can be combined to introduce new mechanics and ways of playing PUBG MOBILE. Creators who subscribe to World of Wonders will be able to create experiences across many different genres, including Deathmatches, Races, Battle Royales, and many more.
celebrating birthday
To top it off, PUBG Mobile Update 2.5 will also celebrate the game’s fifth anniversary with a visual change to the battle royale maps. Additionally, players will be able to visit ten small Imagination Districts located near Erangel and Livik to stock up on rewards.
Other special birthday novelties were also prepared by the developers. Check it out below.
Four new items will also be available to liven up the party, including the colorful Cover Block, which protects players from enemy fire and helps them cross bridges, the Supply Converter, which transforms supplies into items from past seasons or new items, the Portable Trampoline , which allows players to jump high into the sky, and the Dual Purpose Cannon which fires both items and the players themselves.
In addition, version 2.5 will also bring updates to Payload and Metro Royale modes that aim to improve the player experience, such as a new heavy vehicle in Payload and new consumables and other healing mechanics in Metro Royale.
