CHAIRMAN of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Puan Maharani, hopes that the candidate for head of the State Intelligence Agency (BIN) Muhammad Herindra can maintain the stability and unity of the Republic of Indonesia.

“One of the things requested by the DPR from the candidate for the new head of BIN is to maintain the stability of the unitary state of the Republic of Indonesia,” said Puan at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Wednesday (16/10).

“Then how can we keep the unitary state of the Republic of Indonesia running as a complete country,” he added.

Puan also asked Herindra to maintain consistency in his duties as head of BIN so that the institution could work neutrally.

Meanwhile, Herindra said he would maximize collaboration when he served in the new government as head of BIN.

“The point is that we have to collaborate with all stakeholders, yes, the point is that we still have to maintain the integrity of the Republic of Indonesia,” said Harindra. (D-3)
