PDIP DPP CHAIRMAN Puan Maharani, former PDIP Secretary General (Sekjen) Pramono Anung, and PDIP General Treasurer Olly Dondokambey gathered at the residence of PDIP General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri, Jalan Teuku Umar Number 29, Menteng, Central Jakarta, Wednesday, October 16 2024. Puan admitted there was a discussion about the planned Prabowo-Megawati meeting.
“Yes, you can,” said Puan at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Thursday, October 17 2024.
Puan said the meeting was normal. The discussion in it also discusses the dynamics ahead of the inauguration of the elected president and vice president (wapres) for the 2024-2029 period.
“Ordinary meeting. Meeting with the general chairman to discuss things that are currently happening, before the presidential inauguration and so on,” said Puan.
Previously, Puan, Pramono and Olly gathered at Megawati’s residence in Teuku Umar, Wednesday, October 16 2024. Their visit amidst the Megawati issue was to meet with the President-elect and General Chair of the Gerindra Party, Prabowo Subianto.
However, they did not say much about the contents of the meeting. Olly and Pramono walked away when confirmed by the media crew. (Z-9)
