Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf has prepared a list of seven names for joining the Judicial Commission, former members of the PTI Judicial Commission have been included in the list.
Yesterday, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) had officially decided to become a part of the “Judicial Commission of Pakistan”, for which it was agreed to nominate members from both houses of Parliament.
On the issue of forming the Judicial Commission, the Speaker of the National Assembly had asked for two names from the government and the opposition.
According to sources, parliamentarians with legal knowledge will be given preference in the judicial commission.
According to Clause D, the absence of any member shall not affect the validity of the decision of the Commission and despite the absence, the decision of the Commission shall be considered valid.
The Judicial Commission of Pakistan will be a long-term commission, the role of two members of the opposition in the decision-making of the commission is of crucial importance.
