PTI leader Asad Qaiser was sent to jail on judicial remand

Former Speaker National Assembly and leader PTI Asad Qaiser was sent to jail on judicial remand.

Asad Qaiser was brought to the District and Sessions Court and produced in the court of Judicial Magistrate Qudratullah. The police requested the court that those arrested in the corruption case should be brought to justice so that the anti-corruption department can take them away.

The court said that the police say that a judicial trial should be done, this court cannot grant bail to Asad Qaiser. Later, the local court of Islami sent former Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser to jail on judicial remand.

According to sources, Asad Qaiser, who was arrested from Islamabad, will be referred to the anti-corruption department of Swabi district. A copy of the FIR filed against Asad Qaiser in anti-corruption also came out. Asad Qaiser and 4 officers of the health department are accused of assault in Gajokhan Medical College.

The FIR has been filed against the former investigation officer of Anti-Corruption Department Hidayat Shah, the FIR contains three provisions including 406 PPC.

According to the text of the FIR, it was reported that the CPU of electromyography machine was missing in Gujukhan Medical College, Swabi, purchase of defective furniture for the hospital was also reported and five accused including Asad Qaiser were investigated in the matter. Found guilty.

It was stated in the FIR that five accused including Asad Qaiser have caused a loss of 1 crore 64 lakh 56 thousand rupees to the public treasury. It should be noted that yesterday Asad Qaiser was arrested at his residence in Bani Gala Islamabad on charges of corruption.
