Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has demanded the transfer of Pakistan’s former Prime Minister Imran Khan, who was sentenced to three years in prison in the Islamabad Toshakhana case. The petition filed in the Islamabad High Court has demanded that he be transferred to Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi for security reasons. Imran is lodged in Attock Jail in Punjab. The petition demands that Imran be provided with the facilities allowed to political prisoners and allowed to visit his family members and his doctor. On the contrary, it was transferred to Attock. The Shahbaz Sharif government has imposed more than 140 cases on Imran following he was ousted through a no-confidence motion. Read on deshabhimani.com
