PTI demands resignation of four Election Commissioners including Chief Election Commissioner – Pakistan

PTI leaders held a press conference in Islamabad following the Supreme Court reserved seats decision and openly criticized the government. Umar Ayub said that four election commissioners including the chief election commissioner should resign. Shibli Faraz said that the cases that were made were scattered like cards, the courts are giving justice, the decision will be written in golden letters in history. After the press conference, a meeting of the political committee of Tehreek-e-Insaaf was also held under the chairmanship of party chairman Barrister Gauhar. Sources said that the committee has prepared a plan to put pressure on the Election Commission.

Umar Ayub, Shibli Faraz, Asad Qaiser and others attended the meeting of Tehreek-e-Insaaf’s political committee chaired by Barrister Gohar on the issue of the Supreme Court’s decision on reserved seats in Islamabad, while some party leaders through video link. Attended the important meeting.

Sources said that PTI’s political committee was briefed by the legal team regarding the Supreme Court’s decision, the political committee congratulated the legal team and the founding chairman regarding the Supreme Court’s decision.
