IN an effort to reduce congestion during homecoming at Ketapang Port and Gilimanuk Port, PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero) has prepared a special port for homecoming travelers who want to go home from Java directly to Lombok or vice versa.
The readiness carried out by PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry is to prepare Anchor Port in Situbondo and Selamat Harbor in Lombok.
“So, before you get to Ketapang Port, there is Situbondo Port where service users who want to go to Lombok will no longer go via Bali,” said the Commercial and Service Director of PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry, Yusuf Hadi on Wednesday (3/4).
By preparing the port, he continued, he hopes to reduce congestion, especially at Ketapang Port and Gilimanuk Port.
“We also want to reduce the density in Bali, so that tourists in Bali can also be more comfortable. So those who want to go to Lombok can take it directly from Anchor to Selamat or vice versa groups who want to go home from the East to Java can take advantage of Selamat. “go straight to Situbondo or East Java,” he said.
