Psychotrauma: the CN2R funds two research grants

In order to support research on psychotrauma and resilience, the
National Center for Resources and Resilience (Cn2r) opens a call for applications for the funding of 2 scholarships:

  • A scholarship to support a final year of doctoral studies up to €44,000
  • A grant to support a two-year post-doctorate of up to €121,000

The research projects presented by the candidates may be in any discipline, as long as the
The theme that is centrally addressed concerns psychotrauma and/or resilience.

Conditions

The research project presented must be carried out mainly in a French laboratory, regardless of
regardless of the nationality of the student. However, collaborations with foreign laboratories are
quite possible.

– End-of-PhD scholarship aims to support students with a scientific or medical background
in the finalization of their thesis by allowing them to obtain an extension of funding
one year. Candidates for this scholarship must be registered in the doctoral program during the year
university 2023-2024 and the thesis must imperatively be defended at the end of the 12 months of
funding. The maximum amount of the grant is set at €44,000 and the doctoral student’s salary must
must represent at least 85% of the budget. Operating costs and small
equipment (mission, consumable, computer equipment capped at 1 computer) can be
provided for in the budget, except for management costs which are not eligible. A first payment of 80% of the
financing will be made upon award following signature of the financing agreement. The balance
of the scholarship will be paid following validation of the final report (finalized project and signed financial statement).

– The post-doctoral fellowship aims to implement a 2-year research project. Candidates for
post-docs must join their host laboratory no later than the end of December 2023. The amount
maximum grant is set at €121,000 for a 24-month project and the post-doctoral salary
must represent at least 90% of the budget. operating costs and
small equipment (mission, consumable, computer equipment capped at 1 computer) can
be provided for in the budget, except for management costs which are not eligible. A first payment of
60% of the financing will be made upon award following signature of the financing agreement.
A second payment of 20% will be made mid-term following submission of an interim report on
the progress of the project. The balance of the grant will be paid following validation of the final report (draft
finalized and financial statement signed).

The selected projects will benefit from monitoring by the methodological support unit of the Cn2r.
As such, the candidate and his supervisor may sign a reciprocal commitment agreement. the
candidate will have the possibility of being welcomed punctually within the Parisian or Lille premises of the Cn2r.
