Body tremor is a physical symptom of some mental disorders, such as anxiety, panic, and stress. It can be overcome and prevented, by following some guidelines.
In the following report, “The Consulto” reviews the causes of body tremors when anxious and stressed, how to overcome them, and ways to prevent them, according to the “Healthmatch” and “Healthline” websites.
Reasons for body tremor when anxious and stressed
When feeling anxious, the body goes into a “fight or flight” phase, during which stress hormones, such as adrenaline and cortisol, surge, resulting in:
– High heart rate.
– rapid breathing.
– Hypertension.
Doctors explain these vital changes as a reaction issued by the body, in response to stress and anxiety, which stimulate it to pump more oxygen-laden blood to all muscles, and this is what causes trembling.
