On the Tuesday following the murder, the 44-year-old moved with the black scooter towards Zografou and other areas, apparently to lose his tracks and ended up in the underground parking in Maroussi, where he left the scooter and left with a BMW motorcycle, which belongs to company and he used it himself.
On Friday, the police, following identifying him, found that with a rented white van he tried to enter the underground parking lot in Marousi. There, they immobilized him, while his partner, who had the keys to the garage and a backpack belonging to the 44-year-old, followed in the car. The large motorcycle he used was found inside the garage, but not the murder scooter.
From camera footage, the police established that on Tuesday night, a few hours following the surveyor’s murder, a car with 2 people arrived at the underground parking lot in Marousi (one might not be ruled out to be the 44-year-old, the other is wanted). After a while, one left in the car and the other in the scooter used in the murder.
Also, from a witness statement, it appears that in the house where the 44-year-old lived in Neo Psychiko, he was driving a scooter, similar to the one used in the murder, in the previous period.
