Pskov high school students go remote because of the flu

High school students in Pskov from December 19 to 25 (the last school day of the year) will study remotely. This is due to the epidemic of SARS and influenza, according to the official portal of the Pskov region in Telegram.

The younger grades, that is, from the first to the fourth, will be engaged in the mode of duty groups without combining students in the same classes. This means that those who cannot be left at home can go to school. All institutions of additional education in Pskov will also not conduct face-to-face classes.

At the same time, the rest of the municipalities of the region will continue full-time education for the time being. The condition for the transition to the distance will be the absence of more than 20% of the students of the class, provided that they are ill with the flu or SARS.

The authorities also gave recommendations to educational institutions not to hold events, including holidays, indoors.

Three days ago, on December 13, it was reported that 50 classes were quarantined in Pskov due to the disease.
