Invited on the set of BFMTV, the day following the release under judicial supervision of his former teammate Aminata Diallo, Kheira Hamraoui did not hide his emotion. She recounts the long months of ordeal that she went through and the wounds that are not ready to fade, following the aggression of which she was the victim.
On November 4, 2021, Kheira Hamraoui was attacked with iron bars and beaten in the legs by two men, in front of Aminata Diallo, while the two players were driving home together from a team dinner. Diallo was first placed in police custody before being released without prosecution.
“I have pain today when I speak, it’s normal. Everything I had, throughout my career, I fought for. Seeing overnight that everything is collapsing, it hurts…”, said the player this Thursday evening before the tears rose. JI want to play football once more, for everything to be like before even if I know that nothing will be like before…“
The French international then explains that she was able to hold on thanks to her oh so precious entourage. “I was lucky to have all my family and all my loved ones with me. I know that there are people who are not accompanied and who might have had dark thoughts. I had lucky to have held out throughout these ten months of ordeal.”
Wednesday evening Kheira Hamraoui was present at the Jean-Bouin stadium in Paris to attend the meeting of his team in the Champions League. She then spoke at the microphone of RMC Sport on the release under the control of Aminata Diallo. “I trust in the justice of my country, but tonight I am afraid”
