Resident Evil on PS5? Yes, please!

This suggests that they might be released soon. Capcom announced in March that the games would be coming to PS5 and Xbox Series this year, although a closer release date hasn’t been announced. As spotted by PlayStation patch tracker @PlayStationSize, all three titles have now appeared on PSN as PS5 games, leading to speculation that they will be released in conjunction with this week’s Summer Game Fest showcase or Capcom’s own digital event next week might. Capcom also said that the new-gen upgrades will be free for existing game owners.

“Upgrade patches for all three games will also be released for PC players at no additional cost when the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series versions are released!” Capcom said the console versions of the new generation of games will include “visual improvements” but didn’t say if there would be new features beyond that. The group recently confirmedthat one Resident Evil 4-Remake is in development and scheduled for release on March 24, 2023 for PS5, Xbox Series and PC. According to Capcom, the remake of Resident Evil 4 keeping the essence of the original game while having “modernized gameplay, a reimagined storyline and vividly detailed graphics”.
