In January, Proximus already increased its prices for the first time. A second increase will therefore follow. The operator had already announced the price increase last week when publishing its quarterly figures.

Specifically, some of the more popular Flex packs will cost $3 more per month. This represents an increase of 4% on average, depending on the composition. These are packs including a TV component. “The increase relates to the rental of the decoder and reflects the increase in the prices of materials and equipment”, specifies the operator.

Fixed internet will also become more expensive in some cases from 1 July. The price of the entry-level Internet Essential product will not change, but Internet Maxi and Internet Maxi Fiber will cost one euro more per month. This corresponds to a price increase of approximately 2%.

Some mobile offers are also becoming more expensive, but the amount of data available is increasing. There is no price change if the Mobilus subscription is part of a pack. The price of Mobilus S does not change, but Mobilus M and Maxi increase respectively by 3 and 5 euros per month.

Finally, those who only have a fixed line will also have to pay more. The price of the subscription will increase by one euro per month. And those who choose to call for free on weekends and weekday evenings will see the price of a daytime call drop from 88 euro cents to 1 euro.

Proximus says it understands that this message is not pleasant for customers, but underlines the increase in inflation, in particular wages, energy and the price of technological equipment, such as decoders and modems.
