You can see in those around us in hospitals, clinics and sanatoriums that the processes of training human resources in the medical sciences are increasingly being strengthened. It was not easy to convince that the province had the capacity to have a medical career. We have not been alone, because there is a decision by the Government to favor actions that tend to development. You are the human resources and the talent, because there is a Government that makes the decision to invest in a national public university and beyond the administrative limits is to look to the future in the province.”

In turn, the Undersecretary of Health highlighted that “this Santiago del Estero has put everything for public health and this has been demonstrated.” “We have an immense geography where 20% of the people of Santiago must have the same opportunities with respect to medicine and health sciences, this system that is on par with the patient in this territory needs each and every one of you. because those people from Santiago expect this training from you”he added.

Finally, Dr. Scrimini expressed: “We know that going through this stage of residency involves an enormous effort, but we know that there is no other system better than that of residencies in the training of graduates in health systems in specialties. We know that to acquire these knowledge, experiences, skills and attitudes over time, this concentrated in 4 years as a program followed with supervision during work, there is no other system that has been shown to be as efficient.”.
