New Delhi: The wrestlers who were protesting have stopped their street strike and will now fight through the court. The protesting wrestlers said on Sunday that their fight once morest sex-charged WFI chief Brij Bhushan Singh will now take place in the courts.

In similar tweets, wrestlers Vinesh Phogat, Sakshi Malik and Bajrang Punia said the government had kept its promise to file a charge sheet once morest the BJP leader. “The fight will continue until we get justice, but it will be in the courts, not in the streets,” the wrestlers said in a joint statement.

“The election process related to reform in WFI has started. We will wait for the government to fulfill its promises regarding the July 11 elections,” the wrestlers continued.

We will decide whether to stay on the road or risk our lives. That is why we are silent. “Our fight is not over,” Phogat added.

Vinesh also alleged that Yogeshwar Dutt is targeting them because of his selfish interests. “I’ll tell you why he’s doing this. Brij Bhushan might have offered him the post of WFI president and that is why he stood by Brij Bhushan,” she said.
