Mahsa killed
This comes days following Mahsa Amini was beaten to death by the Iranian “morality” police for not complying with the country’s hijab rules.
Mahsa was visiting relatives in Tehran when the “morality” police, who enforce rules on how women dress and behave, stopped her and then beat her in custody, causing her to suffer a heart attack and die.
Her death sparked a wave of protests across Iran and prompted a harsh response from Iran’s president, Ebrahim Raisi, who ordered riot police to “deal decisively” with the protesters.
