Protesters in Paris: Israel is organizing the “Genocide Olympics”

Paris – Protesters in solidarity with Palestine in Paris accused Israel of organizing a “genocide Olympics” in reference to the atrocities it is committing in the Gaza Strip, coinciding with the “Paris 2024” Olympic Games hosted by the French capital.

Protesters gathered in the Place de la Republique in the capital, Paris, holding up banners reading “Boycott Israel,” “Genocide Olympics,” and “Long Live the Palestinian Resistance.”

The demonstrators also raised Palestinian flags and chanted slogans demanding that Israel stop its massacres in Gaza.

In an interview with Anadolu Agency, the protester Sarah said: “I am here to protest against the genocide and ethnic cleansing in Palestine committed by the most immoral army in the world.”

Sarah said that the Israeli army deliberately targets children, women and journalists in the Gaza Strip, saying: “We could not imagine seeing a father carrying the body of his headless child and a mother looking at her headless child.”

Sarah said that mothers in Gaza are trying to identify their dead children from their bones.

“What we see now is a people living genocide every day, screaming ‘help’ every day, and no one is moving,” she added.

Earlier today, the Israeli army launched an airstrike on the Tabeen School in the Daraj neighborhood of Gaza City, where displaced people fleeing Israeli military operations had taken refuge, killing at least 100 people and wounding dozens while they were performing the dawn prayer.
