Air Wrap ‘Nose Clean 2’
Photo provided by Airlab Airlab developed ‘Nose Clean 2’ while considering a product that protects the nose from various viruses as COVID-19 spreads. Nose Clean 2, launched in October last year, sold more than 10,000 units to consumers suffering from allergies and other respiratory diseases on Amazon in the US within five months of its launch.
Nose Clean 2 helps prevent COVID-19 and respiratory infectious diseases by effectively protecting the inside of the nose for people who are worried regarding getting infected through gaps even when wearing a mask, or in restaurants or cafes where they have no choice but to take off their masks. Test results from the Korea Institute of Energy Research confirmed that the ultra-fine natural Korean paper fusion filter filters polluted air such as ultra-fine dust, yellow dust, pollen, environmental dust, automobile exhaust gas, and harmful bacteria up to 70% of PM2.5.
Because it is a product that is inserted into the nose, there may be resistance when using it, but the new product Nose Clean 2, released following many years of research, not only effectively blocks polluted air in the atmosphere by using an optimal Korean paper filter, but also maximizes wearing comfort and stability.
This product purifies and blocks polluted air inhaled into the nose. The silicone in the product can be washed under running water and reused. Filters can be replaced, making it hygienic and economical.
The size of the silicone is customized to each individual, such as △for women (S) △for men (M) △for foreigners (L), considering the internal size of the user’s nasal cavity.
In addition, the use of a Korean paper microfiber fusion filter made of 550 strands ensures smooth air circulation. The explanation is that there is no problem with breathing even if you wear Nose Clean 2 and an additional mouth mask.
Hyokwang Lee, CEO of Airlab, said, “Our goal is to develop a product that can help people who are anxious due to COVID-19 wear a mask more safely and protect their respiratory health even in situations where they have to take off the mask.”
