This Saturday, September 30, the Ministry of Health will carry out the “vaccination for a Colombia without cervical cancer.” According to the ministry, all people living in Colombia will be able to access these vaccines, regardless of immigration status or affiliation status with the health system. The objective, the ministry noted, is “to vaccinate 6,615 children under 9 years of age in the country once morest HPV: 3,238 girls and 3,377 boys. Families are also expected to catch up with vaccination schedules because all vaccines will be available.”

The ministry indicated that, in total, there will be more than 3,000 vaccination points throughout the country. For example, the headquarters of the Colombian League Against Cancer will be enabled, its sections and chapters will join the vaccination day with the authorization of several points.

1. Vaccinate 90% of girls ages 9 to 17 and boys ages 9 to 17 once morest HPV.

2. Screen women ages 25 to 29 with cytology and women ages 30 to 65 with HPV-DNA testing.

3. Treat women who presented an injury in early detection tests in a timely and effective manner.
