Orla McGlynn, a young woman of 22, desperately wanted to enjoy the good weather and rushed outside, without thinking to put on sunscreen. The next day, she paid the price.

The day following her exposure, the young woman woke up with a very swollen eye area. “I might still see. My right eye was much worse, but it didn’t hurt, ”says Orla in the columns of the Mirror.

When she first saw his eyes, she first thought they were puffy from fatigue. But when she saw that it was getting worse, she very quickly made the connection with the fact that she had gone out without protection the day before. With the situation not improving at all, Orla went to the hospital, where she was prescribed antihistamines and ibuprofen.

“I’m back to normal now. Thank God. It took regarding three days to clean everything and I had to wear my sunglasses while I was working as a waitress in the pub, ”says Orla, who, one thing is certain, will no longer go out without sunscreen.
