Prosperi Foundation created “A song to hope” to promote Pariano talent

With “A Song to Hope,” the Quirico Prosperi Foundation offered a cultural gala at its ancestral home in El Rincón, in the Benítez municipality of Sucre state; this as a way of highlighting local talents and the traditions of the region.

The event, which took place on Sunday afternoon in the cocoa-producing town of Benitez, featured young people such as Francesca González, from Carúpano; Leonel León, “the cardinal of Benitez”; the dance troupe of Robert Urbano and Dirwin Zerpa, who gave the gala its distinctive touch with his boleros.

Special mention should be made of the performance of little Erick Guzmán, who moved the audience with his interpretations, despite not being more than 10 years old.

Guzmán performed songs by the renowned Hernán Marín and joined his voice with that of Francesca González to interpret Venezuela.

Nelson Figuera, musical director of the Prosperi Foundation, stressed that the idea of this type of event is to bring a message of peace, love and tranquility to the Venezuelan people.

He highlighted the support of the non-governmental organization, thanks to which they can mobilize children, acquire instruments and other actions in favor of the cultural development of the area.

Contributions

Juana Gómez, coordinator of the social area of the Quirico Prosperi Foundation, said that sustained work has been done to contribute to the town of El Rincón, with contributions such as the rehabilitation work of the local church, the rescue of the cultural center and support for cultural and sporting events in Benítez.

The coordinator expressed on behalf of the president of the Foundation, Alejandro Prosperi, the desire to overcome the differences between Venezuelans and to work for the future of children and young people and called for not wasting time in fights. “We are Venezuelans and Venezuela needs people who love it.”

“We want to call on the Venezuelan people to unite, because there are many things to do, and we hope that all the businessmen of the world, and of Venezuela in particular, will take over a small town, as Mr. Alejandro did with El Rincón, and make it count.”
