The perpetrators and accomplices of the murder of police officer Lucas Muñoz remain in the shadows. Seven years following his body was found in a field on the outskirts of Bariloche, no one has yet managed to tie up the loose ends of the investigation. And the pact of silence does not fall.
It is not yet known where they kept him kidnapped or hidden during the 26 or 27 days that he was missing? How did they feed him? Who guarded him? How did they move him? who hid the evidence? Much less is known who executed him with a shot to the head.
Muñoz disappeared on July 14, 2016 when he was going to work at the 42nd police station in Bariloche. They found his body on August 10, 2016. The perpetrator or perpetrators of the homicide left the body with all their belongings, as a clear challenge to the investigators.
