The Democratic Party strongly opposed the recent investigation by the prosecution and police, saying, “The competition for loyalty to President-elect Yoon Seok-yeol has crossed the line” and “kill Lee Jae-myung.”
They are rushing to investigate only passports, and conversely, they are closing their eyes on investigations into the president-elect’s wife, Mr.
The People’s Power said it was a ‘legitimate investigation’, but the controversy is growing.

As the police continued their search and seizure of Kim Hye-kyung, the wife of former Gyeonggi governor Lee Jae-myung, on suspicion of misappropriation of corporate cards, the Democratic Party protested against the prosecution, saying that the police also ‘started to kill Lee Jae-myung’.
Prosecutors are investigating allegations of blacklisting by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and confiscating and searching power generation subsidiaries, followed by police raiding the Gyeonggi Provincial Office and competing for loyalty against elected candidate Yoon Seok-yeol.

“Like a military dictatorship that trampled on the enemy with a bayonet, it now looks like legal engineers are taking the lead to suppress the critics.
In particular, the Democratic Party criticized that, unlike Kim Hye-kyung, who conducted a search and seizure within ten days of receiving the complaint, the investigation into allegations of forgery and stock price manipulation of Mrs. Kim Gun-hee was not carried out.
Former prosecutor Han Dong-hoon, a close aide, also strongly opposed the acquittal of the allegation of collusion with prosecuting attorneys.

“The knife that can’t even cut a radish in the power of living while leaving the obvious cases related to Kim Gun-hee, such as plagiarism plagiarism, forgery of academic background and career, and suspicion of stock price manipulation, is the sharpest on the losing side of the election.”
The People’s Power countered that political retaliation was created when there was no crime.

However, in the Democratic Party, there are growing calls to prevent attempts to influence politics through investigations, saying that the investigative agencies automatically match the code for the president-elect who was a prosecutor.
