Following a complaint made by Renovación Nacional, the Public Ministry will open an investigation to detect possible crimes committed in the delivery of grace pensions to people with convictions and/or criminal records.

It is important to remember that the Comptroller’s report also revealed that a dozen people who did not present medical reports that support their categorization as a human rights victim to receive the benefit.
