Prosecutor accuses him of financing violent actions

The Attorney General Towing William Saab, accuses political leader Gilber Caro of financing and organizing criminal groups to generate acts of violence after the presidential elections of July 28.

During the press conference, the Attorney General presented videos with confessions and screenshots of conversations between a pran called “alias Valle”, a pran from Uribana known as “El Ratón” and another called “alias Santa Rosa”, in which the first claims that Caro provided them with financial help.

In the confession video, “alias Valle” claims that Caro assured him that the money was sent by Leopoldo López.

“On the 31st (of July) he told me that he had some missions for me, that he needed people and that I should get him some boys to go to a warehouse that the CNE has in Mariches and he sent me the location to my phone where I had to send people to the warehouse to set it on fire,” the person involved can be heard during part of the video.

The person confessed that he had contact with “El Ratón”, who asked him if there was money, to which he replied that yes, an amount of $20,000 would be paid through Zelle.

According to the video presented by prosecutor Saab, a person known as “alias Santa Rosa” claims that he was asked to find people to cause disturbances in the street and that he was offered money to pay them.
